APOSTILLE
Apostille is a French word which means CERTIFICATION. A document bearing an Apostille is valid in all of the Hague Treaty Countries .
For SERPRO LLC to successfully obtain the correct Apostille you must identify the COUNTRY OF DESTINATION. We can Apostille any document that has been signed by one or more of the following officials:
-County Clerks or Recorders -Court Administrators -Executive Officers
-Judges of the Superior Court -Executive Clerks -NOTARIES PUBLIC
-State Officials -Birth Certificate -Marriage Licenses
-Bylaws -Divorce Decree -Powers of Attorney
-Papers for adoption purposes -Deeds of Assignment -Trademarks
-References and Job Certification -Distributorship Agreements
-Corporate documents such as articles, mergers, amendments, etc.
-School records such as diplomas, transcripts, letters relating to degrees.
-Officers whose authority is not limited to any particular co.
All Documents must be currently certified by the appropriate public official or must be notarized by a Notary Public. Individuals requiring an Apostille of any school records (e.g., college transcripts) must obtain a notarized copy of the record from the high school, university, etc., before submitting the documents for Apostille or authentication.
If your document is intended for use in a country which is a party to a treaty called the Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents ("Hague Legalization Convention" HLC), obtaining a special "Apostille" certificate is generally all that is required.
We can authenticate and get an Apostille for documents issued in any State of USA. Express Apostille processing (Same day) is available for the documents which are issued in Georgia. Any documents executed in ANY other State can be authenticated in 2-3 weeks.
Our cost is based on the state of processing and the type of document needed and the time frame allowed for processing
Please note that in cases where both countries have signed the Hague convention, the "Apostille" procedure has to be followed. The convention expressly rules out the old validation procedure performed by the Consulates. In cases where one or both countries are not party to the Hague convention, the old validation procedure involving the Consulates is still used.
